A wide open living space in Merrick, New York was reconfigured to accommodate both a hard-working kitchen and formal dining setting. The design scheme features a rich palette evocative of warm, comforting foods such as maple syrup and caramel, expressed in the wall treatment and custom artisan tile backsplash. Glistening mercury-gold lighting fixtures and accessories accentuate the ambiance.
